Low/No Cost Counseling

If you are insured under Medicaid, we’d love to support you! Unfortunately we don’t take Medicaid insurance nor do we file insurance, but we offer low cost services for those who have Medicaid coverage. You can be paired with a graduate intern for up to $30 a session.

What is a graduate intern?

Our graduate interns are students in a Masters program for counseling or social work. Working with clients at Push is their last step before graduation. They have completed all their coursework and have been approved by the faculty at their university. This means they have all the skills and qualifications necessary to see clients in the community, but they just have to meet the required clinical hours to finish their degree!

How Do I Pay?

Great question! We use a system called Ivy Pay. This is a HIPAA compliant app that allows you to put a card on file without us storing your card information. You will be charged the session fee AFTER your session with your therapist. However, there is a no show/late cancellation fee of $15 if you do not notify your therapist you will not be attending session. This is all listed in our consent forms as well.

Liliana Aguilar
Graduate Intern, Tarleton State University

As a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student intern with a background in education and experienceworking with youth in a variety of settings, I am eager to transition my skills into a therapeutic role. I alsohave experience working with children/youth with Autism and ADHD/ADD, and I welcome clients whoare neurodivergent. My previous roles deepened my understanding of trauma-informed care, behavioralinterventions, and the importance of a supportive environment in fostering emotional well-being andpersonal growth. I look forward to utilizing my experience to support adolescents, women and membersof the LGBTQ+ community on their mental health journeys. While I am trained in a range of counselingtheories and techniques, I am especially drawn to Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive BehavioralTherapy (CBT), and Gestalt Therapy to help you reach your goals. My goal is to empower clients byfostering resilience, growth, and self-awareness in a safe, collaborative therapeutic space.

Raihaana Peera
Graduate Intern, National Louis University

Welcome! My name is Raihaana Peera and I am committed to supporting people through life’s challenges by providing a safe space for growth and healing. With a person-centered and holistic approach, I strive to empower clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while developing effective strategies for personal well-being and resilience.

Outside of work, I find joy in spending time with my toddler and family, trying new coffee shops, doing creative projects, and exploring thrift stores for small treasures. My happy places are where I feel most grounded and inspired—whether it's in the kitchen making a hearty meal, watching the sunset over the ocean, or sharing meaningful conversations with loved ones. These spaces remind me of the importance of balance, connection, and inner peace, values I strive to bring into my work as a counselor.
